Hello once again,

I am glad to be updating my journal for everyone. This means one thing to me, the spam stuff has slowed to the point that I feel confident to share once again. Yeah
I have added one of my latest works into my gallery Titled "Portrait of an Heir - Bald Eagle" so please feel free to have a look.
I'd also like to say a big thank you to a wonderful wildlife photographer and new canadian who has graciously allowed me to work from his reference.

Hello Everyone on DA,

It's been quite some time since I have shared any new pieces with you. I have been quite busy creating and preparing for an upcoming show this summer.
I thought I would share a smaller work that is more of a study as it is only 7x5 in size. It is titled "Afternoon Watch - Seagulls" which pictures two seagulls taking turns snoozing on a rock. It is completed in various grades of graphite pencil on illustration board. I shot the reference for this piece on a trip to Salt Spring Island on the West Coast of BC Canada. They just seemed so content. Sometimes the simplest images are the most beautiful.

Hello again everyone. I'd just like to start by saying thank you to all the people who have left nice comments about my work. Sorry I haven't had time to reply to each and every one. I really enjoy that others like my work enough to add it to their fav's, it makes the time sitting in front of the drawing board more rewarding than it normally is.

As my move is complete and the season slows down in my paying gig out on the water(I'm driving a crew boat on the west coast of Canada)and we head into winter I can finally get back to the drawing board. I have taken a lot of photo reference this summer and fall and have lots of ideas for artwork. Feel free to join me over on my blog and watch as some of these ideas unfold. If your a fan of my work and wildlife art in general I hope to see you there.

I"ll post some of the completed works here but I am a little hesitant after hearing the horror stories of people stealing artwork and calling it there own...I really don't want to stop posting but it takes a lot of time to create traditional art and well you know the story.....

Wow is all I have to say...that and thank you very much for all the people who have stopped by my page and left the nice comments!!!! I really do apprecieate them all.

I have to appologize for not replying to the comments on the individual pages. I have not been here much as of late due to the fact that I am going through a complete career change and a move all at the same time. I have been forced to back off on the drawing for a short bit. I hope to be back at it as soon as I get relocated.
I was quite shocked with my sudden popularity on my page. Not sure why or how it happened but I am very thankful for all involved.
I will try my best to keep new images coming....I do have quite a list of images I'd like to complete. If anyone has any subject suggestions feel free to shoot me a note and let me know.
