I really do enjoy seeing/drawing Orca Pods and I especially liked this one given the spectacular setting which they live in. The view is looking NW into the beautiful Discovery Passage on the east coast of Vancouver Island, Canada, and it happens to be where I live. This shot is from one of my favourite spots on the beautiful Quadra Island. Thank you for stopping by and having a peek.....I hope you enjoy!
Thank you very much...I'm glad you liked it and that it looked familiar to you. It was a nice challenge to portray distance in a drawing like this..

Wow, I love how you captured this image. It's beautiful! I have to try and draw a coastal scene as part of an extra credit project for my Geography class. Do you have any tips or suggestions on how to go about it? Any help would be amazing

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
